Lysa Gonzalez

Lead Instructor/Owner

Whether you’re looking for a challenging work out, want to focus on a particular goal, need to regain strength from an injury or illness or you are new to Pilates. Lysa will set realistic goals and meet and exceed them. Lysa spent 14 years in finance and loved helping her clients with their financial endeavors. She was introduced to Pilates at a business center where she worked. She quickly realized that Pilates helped her relieve stress and gain strength. She also saw the multiple benefits it brought to her life — and now it’s her passion. In 2009, her life was drastically changed when her youngest daughter Jazmyn became seriously ill. Two years later, her daughter received a liver transplant. After leaving the hospital and being bedridden for two years, she was very weak. Lysa turned to Pilates to help her regain her strength. She witnessed the dramatic change that Pilates made in her daughter. At that point she knew that she could help others. Lysa has a passion for helping her students and always goes the extra mile. She truly loves sharing her passion for Pilates. Because of that passion, she opened the Pilates and Wellness Center to bring together other like-minded practitioners that want to enhance their clients’ well-being in a professional, fun and positive setting.

Carla Espinosa

Pilates Instructor

Carla's goal is to be able to share her passion for Pilates with others. Carla has been in the fitness world for most of her life. Between raising a family, two sons with her husband of 50 years, she has led a life full of challenges when it came to her finding what brought her joy and focus. From childhood to her adult years, she was very involved with dance. Carla is a 5th Degree Black Belt Master in Taekwondo. She owned her own business for twenty years. Along with her partner they created a school for families with a dedication to building “A Strong Mind, Body and Spirit”. That commitment was what drove her to become a successful teacher and build a wonderful (family) Martial Arts School. She has been a practitioner of Pilates from the early 90’s along with Yoga and martial arts. She was certified in group fitness, Step Aerobics, Kick Boxing and Cross Training in Southern California. Once she opened her Taekwondo Studio she only taught fitness at her Dojang (school). She also taught Taekwondo at private and public schools. Pilates and yoga became her primary personal workout. To be able to share her passion with others is her goal and passion.

Nanette Lani Brierley

Yoga Instructor

Yoga is a form of self-healing through movement and stillness “Movement is important, no matter how old we are. It’s important for the health and function of our physical body, emotional body, mind, and spirit, as everything is connected. It is also important to practice stillness as it allows us to listen to what our body is telling us it needs.” Yin Yoga is a practice in fluidity; becoming soft, allowing ourselves to become still, and being mindful of our breath. It affects the deeper soft tissues of the body; tendons, ligaments, connective tissue that surrounds the internal organs, muscles and bones, etc. It allows us to maintain flexibility, freedom of movement, and longevity. Nanette Lani Brierley is an LMT, Cranio~Sacral~SELF~Waves Therapist, Life Changes Spiritual Coach, Certified Reiki practitioner,a Certified and Registered Yoga Teacher, and has been a professional in the field of Alternative and Wholistic Practice for 23 years.
